Kah-Nee-Ta

Welcome to Warm Springs, a nation where the sun shines most every day and time turns to the pace of a culture thousands of years in the making.

It is the land of the Warm Springs, Wasco and Paiute Native American Tribes, stretching from the snowcapped summit of the Cascade Mountains to the palisaded cliffs of the Deschutes River in Central Oregon.

Showcasing most of the Pacific Northwest's natural wonders, the Warm Springs Reservation includes Alpine lakes, pristine rivers, deep canyons and vistas of high desert and volcanic peaks. Over half the reservation is forested, with the remainder primarily range land.

Reservation lands extend from the summit of Oregon's Cascade Mountains and snowcapped Mt. Jefferson at 10,497 feet, east to the Deschutes River's elevation at 1,000 feet, with the Metolius River and Lake Billy Chinook forming the southern boundary.

We invite you to visit Warm Springs. We invite you to escape to another nation.
The people of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs are proud to welcome you to our home. You are our guest, and our unique variety of recreational opportunities await you. Enjoy.

Guests who wish to immerse themselves in the culture of Warm Springs can visit the Museum at Warm Springs or attend one of the many cultural events held throughout the year. We have salmon bakes, dancing, drumming, storytelling, and more. Join the fun.

For those looking for fresh air, outdoor activities abound at Warm Springs. Whether you enjoy the exhilaration of biking and rafting or the quietude of hiking and fishing, we have it all.

Swimming:

Enjoy the Olympic sized Village Hot Springs swimming pool at Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort & Casino. Naturally heated by the Hot Springs, the water is cooled to a comfortable 88 degrees in the summer and 92 degrees in the winter. Amenities to the village pool include two hot tubs, and extra large deck for sunbathing, a kiddy pool and a 140' slide.
