Shirley Temples
A beverage that was once common and now seldom encountered is the Shirley Temple, named after the popular child star of the 1930s.
Ingredients:
ice cubes
6 to 8 oz. 7-Ups
highball glasses
1 oz. grenadines
maraschino cherries
Steps:
1. Fill a highball glass 3/4 full of ice cubes.
2. Pour 7-Up over ice until the glass is almost full.
3. Add grenadine syrup.
4. Stir.
5. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Tip:
This can be made with ginger ale instead of 7-Up.
